The Snowdrop Building
Castle Green has become the new Snowdrop hub in the centre of Sheffield, which offers a safe, friendly and trusted space for vulnerable people to attend advocacy and legal appointments, community activities, educational courses and counselling.
The building is also home to other charities who share the space with us. Currently in the building are:
ATLEU (Anti-Trafficking and Labour Exploitation Unit) – 2nd floor
ATLEU provides legal representation to survivors of modern slavery and exploitation. They cover immigration, public law, compensation and housing.
SAVTE (Sheffield Association for the Voluntary Teaching of English) – 2nd floor
SAVTE helps speakers of other languages take their first steps to develop skills and confidence in functional English. SAVTE also recruit, train and support volunteer teachers from all backgrounds.
Fumble – 3rd floor
Fumble co-create healthy, exciting, reliable, relatable, digital sex-ed content with and for 11–21 year olds. They ensure that young people have the skills and knowledge to successfully manage their sexual health, mental health and relationships.
GROW - 3rd floor
Grow is a youth development charity that combines coaching with nature-based projects to help trainees combat social isolation, boost their wellbeing and develop employability skills.
Irise International – 3rd floor
Irise empowers those experiencing disadvantage because they have a female body to overcome the barriers they face, supporting them to come together to reshape their wider communities.
We are a passionate group of charities who all want to make a difference in the world, and we support each other in the process.
